Kidney disease doesn’t get the attention it should — especially in the Black community. It doesn’t always cause pain, it doesn’t make headlines, and most men don’t even know they have it… until it’s too late. But here’s the hard truth: Black men are at a much higher risk for kidney failure than any other group in the U.S. It’s time to stop ignoring it and start protecting yourself.

Your kidneys work 24/7. They filter your blood, balance your fluids, remove waste, regulate your blood pressure, and help control hormones. But when they get damaged, the effects hit everything — your heart, your energy, your blood, your bones… even your brain.

WHY BLACK MEN ARE AT HIGHER RISK
Kidney disease often comes from two major sources:
High blood pressure
Diabetes
